Daniel Gutierrez Ayala - Paralegal

Daniel Gutierrez Ayala was born in Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of two. He is now a student at Cardinal Stritch University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Spanish Translation. He is also on the student board for the Stritch chapter of Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee (HPGM) where he helps students connect with professionals in their field of interest, and create connections for internships and employment post-graduation. He plans to attend law school and one day accomplish his dream of becoming an immigration attorney.

Mr. Gutierrez has had the pleasure of working with the local immigrant and workers’ rights center, Voces de la Frontera. During this time, he advocated for the immigrant community in the city of Milwaukee and guided dozens of DACA recipients like himself through the renewal process.

Daniel continues to serve the immigrant community as the Co-founder and Operations Director of Empowering Citizens which helps lawful permanent residents prepare and study for their citizenship exam.
