Fernanda Angulo-Aguilar

paralegal

Fernanda’s upbringing was shaped by the influence of her Mexican heritage and the diverse cultures in Milwaukee, WI. She is a first‑generation graduate of Marquette University, where she double‑majored in Criminology and Law Studies and in Spanish for the Health Professions, with a minor in Psychology. During her sophomore year, Fernanda was inducted into the National Hispanic Honor Society and Sigma Delta Pi, and later served as its president in her senior year. In her junior year, she worked as a research assistant for Dr. Kristin Haglund on a study examining how family participation in community‑based programs affects children’s resilience.

Witnessing the numerous barriers her parents faced in this country inspired Fernanda to develop a deep passion for supporting the immigrant community. She is committed to using her education and experiences to advocate for equity and opportunity.

Fernanda enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her cat named Coffee. She loves listening to true crime podcasts, reading, painting, traveling, and discovering new restaurants.
